EmPowered is an online magazine that aims to Inform, Enlighten and Inspire our readers through articles written from the heart. The heart of EmPowered is to inspire and propel readers to excel despite circumstances and obstacles. Empowered was formed due to the lack of support and never-ending issues facing many Americans that often leads to broken homes, divorce, low-self-esteem, emotional bankruptcy, and lack of purpose. Our mission is to aid individuals in finding the navigation pieces to soar into their destiny. Our desire at Empowered Magazine is that through our articles and resources you find encouragement and hope. Truly these are ALL His stories – just our lives. We are honored at the opportunity to be His voice into the windows of your eyes and heart as you go on these many journeys with us. As the Editor- at- Large/ Founder of Empowered Magazine Mrs. Baldwin aims to assure that our readers are INSPIRED by the many articles, stories, and initiatives that promote a consciousness to purpose. Mrs. Baldwin's personal commitment is to provide the best possible content, and resources that will reinforce our mandate and responsibility. Empowered's heart will be resonated and felt across this nation proclaiming I AM MY BROTHER'S KEEPER!!! Mrs. Baldwin is the writer and director of a poignant stage play entitled, Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, this play depicts and memorializes the debilitating effects of Domestic Violence. Mrs. Baldwin is also a presenter/instructor at various community and educational initiatives. A 2011 graduate of Langston Univ. with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. Her hobbies include the love of reading, writing, and interior decorating.
Managing Editor/Layout Artist/Contributor, Ceanti Aldridge
Ceanti Aldridge learned graphic design skills out of necessity while attending the University of Central Oklahoma, but it soon became a passion. She began by making flyers for her sorority and that soon evolved into making invitations, announcements, and other graphic prints for other people. Ceanti is also passionate about empowering people and helping those who are in need. As managing editor of Empowered Magazine, she gets to combine those two great loves and provide readers with life impacting information! She is truly grateful to God for getting to be apart of this groundbreaking team and looks forward to seeing what God has in store Empowered Magazine!

Monica Wood - Life EmPowerment Series
Monica Wood is a Physical Education Teacher with the Oklahoma City Public Schools. Monica loves staying fit physically as well as spiritually. She enjoys a lifestyle of eating healthy and a lifestyle reflective of her love for her 2 beautiful children and her relationship with God. Monica enjoys reading, and a stringent exercise regimen. She is eager to motivate and encourage others to excel beyond their wildest dreams.
Dawniel Winningham- Girl!Power Series
Dawniel Patterson-Winningham is a performance coach for a fortune 100 firm. Currently she is creating a series of motivational books for women called "Girl! Power", the first of which will be Girl! Power for entrepreneurs, which includes advice and stories from women everywhere as it relates to breaking into business for themselves.
Her current books include "The Girlfriends Guide to Girl! Power" and "The Big 5 Guide to Girl! Power" both books encouraging women to improve their circle and themselves.
Helen Rambo - Money & Finances
Helen Rambo is a CPA currently employed as the Director of Operations for the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. She is also the President of her own accounting firm ARC Consulting. With a Master’s in Business, Bachelors in Accounting, and a clear passion for helping others, Helen is penning her first financial self-help guide entitled "Debt Free is the New Rich". She enjoys public speaking, golf and spending time with her husband, 8 year old daughter and 4 year old son.

Kelly Ramsey - Education
Kelly began her work with children and families as an early childhood teacher in 1984. She has a B.S. in Family Studies and Gerontology, a M.S. in Education and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree. For over two decades she has had opportunities to work with children and families as a classroom teacher, center director, parent educator, mentor, coach and college instructor. Her experiences working with and on behalf of infants and toddlers includes facilitating parenting groups, setting up infant, toddler and preschool environments in both center based and family child care home settings. As a child care center director, Kelly trained staff on positive interaction with children and taught child development, focused on developmentally appropriate practice for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children at the college level. A lifelong learner, Kelly believes that creating a home and school environment that promotes self-discovery and personal reflection are key to building strong families. She enjoys sharing her experiences in a variety of settings and has been an advocate for children as a board member of organizations that support families and children. She is an experienced presenter and workshop leader in the areas of early childhood classroom management, relationship development, parenting and adult/child interaction. Kelly’s has a passion for helping parents understand their developing child as they grow and learn from the world around them. As the owner of Developing People, Inc., she creates learning opportunities for adults that evoke passion and creates new paths for learning. She enjoys sharing in the discovery with the learner, facilitating the exchange of ideas and providing resources to enhance the learning experience.
Kelly resides in Oklahoma City with her husband and two young children.
